About the Author
At an old wooden desk in a chilly sports hall, in the 1990s, a teenage Hollis Thompson first realised he wanted to write. His exam paper asked for a short scene about a person being chased. He ran over the word count, then he ran out of paper, then he wrote on the back…
Many (enough) years later, he has developed a flavour for speculative fiction with a sense of paranoia that has drawn comparison to the likes of John Wyndham, H. G. Wells, and Kafka.
Hollis likes short walks (National Three Peaks, Yorkshire Three Peaks) and “owning the t-shirt”. He is always hard at work on the next thriller, with no shortage of ideas — for now at least.
